Grumpy Queen Victoria is more interested in her Diamond Jubilee than Christmas in 1897, turning her into a right old Grinch. But when snubbed one too many times, her grand-daughter Princess Patsy, decides to teach the old woman a lesson that the both of them won't soon forget, one that brings the shadow of Krampus into gloomy Windsor.

Merl is a pipe-smoking, Dickens-loving, overweight academic who just wants to be left alone to read in peace. But when a slow-moving, feces-spawning pandemic wipes out most of humanity and culminates in a full-on zombie apocalypse, Merl has no choice but to rise from his velvet settee, grab his trusty sledgehammer, and defend what remains of his quiet, tweed-coated life. Told in Merl's hilariously rambling voice, this short story is a mashup of zombie horror, literary satire, and unapologetic absurdity. Think Shaun of the Dead meets A Tale of Two Cities-with more gray turds and fewer surviving neighbors. A 5,000-word dark comedy about survival, solitude, and smashing the undead.

This story was an experiment of mine, telling an entire tale through the medium of letters - an epistolary - however, to make things interesting, the correspondent, Felonius Crumb, is what you might call a buffoon. Follow his story as he relocates to a new city, and the strange events unfolding around him

A chance meeting of strangers on the banks of the Thames sparks a different sort of flame that burns for centuries, making one man the most famous killer in the world.

In the fantastic world of Orb, Alchemist City is a rising metropolitan power and the epicentre of a dramatic industrial revolution. Ruled by the Technomages, a guild of wizards committed to the exploitation of magic and technology for their own hegemonic ambitions, the sprawling city is an urban arena of political intrigues and ruthless predation. And still culture and society thrive. Humans, dwarves, orcs, elves, gnomes, vampires, ogres, giants, trolls, mushroom men, magically sentient objects, and various forms of machine people, all dwell here together. It is a place of fierce competition but also wonder, adventure, and romance. This story, Airship Luxury Express, follows the arrival of two affluent guests from the nearby land of Mundany who have journeyed there via a newly built steam powered zeppelin. Eager to disembark and see the famous city for themselves, they have little idea what's in store for them.

"I could be wherever I desire, thank you very much." Arthur spat, stumbling into my room and collapsing onto the bed in a drunken heap. With his face pressed against the pillow, he continued. "I have traveled to places you only have the ability to imagine. I've never had to do so much as press my own shirts." He giggled a little bit, letting out a long sigh. "I don't deserve anything less than the best." He concluded. I looked around at the surroundings. The worn wooden floors, and the pitiful embers in the fireplace. I walked over to Arthur, carefully pulling the sheets out from underneath him to place them on top of him. "And yet," I said quietly, "you're here."
