Five/Max Hargreaves was always known was a person who hated affection. He always had this plan set out for himself because of the way he was raised by his cruel father Reginald Hargreaves and how his siblings didn't have much planned out for their future so he felt as if love was a distraction. Reginald specifically trained the umbrella academy not to go near some-burg wells-burg, and for five not to use his powers. Mainly because it was too dangerous and also something bad could happen and disrupt the peace of the earth.
