I decided to rewrite the whole Dork Diaries series because Nikki comes up with the cringiest solutions to every problem. In a world where a corrupt king rules over all but the greater powers. Where species of every kind imaginable rome somewhat free. There is a royal family, of the cursed race. Join this rag tag group of friends and family on an epic adventure to overthrow the king and fix their corrupt society. Meeting new people along the way, they find out that not everyone in this supposedly wasteland of a world isn't all that bad. Friendship, love, comedy, revenge, and sorrow. Their adventure brings together races and species of all kinds in a battle of a lifetime.

They say that the war destroyed a beautiful world. Now it's just ripples in the ground from the nuclear war. The grounds covered in acid and raggid ground with sand, mud, and dirt. But I don't really know what's out there. That's only what our founders told the generations of people in this place. This is 3017, almost a century after the war. That's ALL they told us though. We now are stuck in an unknown land and no one knows where we are on earth. Currently, it fits over 9,000 people. Only the elders know about the world history. We don't have Social Studies in school. They don't tell us because they think it will destroy the peace in our economy. There are only a few who know the truth. That is Evelyn Archon, our current leader, the elders, and soon... me. I also find out that I'm special, I find others who are special just like me. We think it's amazing. But the government wants to use it against us, and the city. Whether they know what they're doing or not, we must stop them. My name is Grace. Grace Barloc. I turn 15 years old today, July 23. This means next week I go in for testing. Yes, we have school pretty much all year... Our government brings in 10-15 year olds every five years for a test that will help us decide what our future will be for the rest of our lives here. I don't really understand it though. No one tells us what questions the test holds.

There are things you notice when you're the quiet one. Like how some people laugh a little too fast. Or how two people who aren't supposed to keep finding excuses to be in the same room. I never meant to watch them. Not really. It's just-when you live in a house that's half love and half secrets, your eyes learn where to go. I know that she smiles like nothing's wrong. My 👨‍👩‍👧 acts like he doesn't see it. And maybe they think I'm too young, or too distracted, or just too me to care. But I care. I notice. And the thing no one tells you about noticing is-once you start, it's hard to stop. I was 12 when it all really started. Not just them. Me too. The boy. The girl. The part of me I didn't have words for. The touch. The electric feeling behind my ribs. It's not true or real, though. It's just a thing people ache for. I don't believe in it. Everyone thinks it's their story. But I'm the one who watched it all. ---

A small college town in the actual middle of nowhere. University with a cult-like following. Party school. Home of world-famous academic programs. Nothing but agriculture fields. Theres are some of the phrases used to describe the small town of Applewood and the large university situated within it. Students come from all over not only to excel academically but also to experience the famous nightlife that took place after the sun went down. By day it is filled with academics and the next generation of scholars and America's workforce. By night is another story. The same people mentioned before become intoxicated enough to pull off the ranking of the biggest party school in the state. Many people that inhabit this town agree that without these parties there would be no reason to come here which is a very agreeable statement. A series of one-shots that describe the on goings around town and the people that live and attend school there.
