But here was the problem. I'm a human, he's an elf. Our species has been in war for centuries. But... I stood there, as he came up to me with a flower. He placed it behind my ear, in my short black hair, with kindness and sincerity in his eyes It's been 16 years after that day, and I used my witchcraft to make the flower immortal, so it didn't die. It meant a lot to me that elf was being kind and brave to approach me and show a kind gesture, since humans are the lowest of the social hierarchy and the main cause of the war anyways.
