In a world where humans are considered nothing more than commodities-bought, sold, and studied like exotic livestock-Vareshian university student Lorian Thorne receives a young 6 inch human as part of a groundbreaking class experiment. Unlike the older, scarred, and vacant humans distributed to his peers, Lorian's human is barely more than a child, wide-eyed and trembling in the corner of his cage. Lorian has always understood humans the way his parents taught him: resources, tools, valuable for their rarity but not worth empathy or consideration. Yet as he observes his human's fragile existence and begins to interact with him, Lorian starts questioning everything he's been told. The boy's small, defiant attempts at connection force Lorian to confront not only the morality of his own actions, but the brutal reality of the society he lives in. As the class progresses, Lorian must navigate the expectations of his Vareshian peers, his parents' ingrained beliefs, and his growing sense of responsibility toward the life in his care. What starts as a sterile academic exercise becomes a journey of unexpected connection, forcing Lorian to face the uncomfortable truths about his world, his family, and ultimately, himself.

In a world of full sacrifices, hindi naiiwasan na may mga bagay na mahirap isakripisyo.

In a coastal town where the sea takes more than it gives, love is a promise measured in light. Brindlehaven Cove, early 1950s. A place of rugged cliffs, restless waters, and a lighthouse that never sleeps. Vivienne Langford has spent her life doing what is expected of her. Born into privilege, she works quietly as a nurse and hospital switchboard operator, tending the wounded and relaying distress calls from ships battling the unforgiving sea. Duty has always come before desire-until the day she meets Asher Vance. Asher is a Navy officer shaped by discipline, sacrifice, and a past that taught him never to want what he hasn't earned. Calm under pressure and steady in the face of danger, he carries the weight of the sea on his shoulders-and a growing fear that a woman like Vivi could never truly choose him. Their connection begins not with romance, but with shared purpose. And on a quiet evening beneath the lighthouse glow, Asher makes a promise that will bind them both to hope. But when a brutal storm sends Asher into dangerous waters and leaves him presumed lost, Vivi is forced to confront the life others have chosen for her. As the lighthouse becomes her nightly vigil, family pressure mounts, an engagement is arranged, and love is tested by absence, fear, and the silence of the sea. At the edge of the storm, only one truth remains: Some promises are stronger than convention. Some love endures even the darkest waters. And when the light shines again, everything must be chosen. A sweeping historical romance of courage, sacrifice, and devotion-where love must weather the storm to find its way home.

There's something notorious about this feeling. Something sensational. And I hate it. It hangs thick in the air, its musk clinging to my skin when I leave this room. And I'll never admit it to him, but I wouldn't leave if I couldn't take part of it with me. I'd rather wait. I'd rather have my patience run thin. Just confess. You greedy bastard.

Vaneliel Rovishna has never cared for princes, nobles, or the whispered fantasies other women spin about them. At five-foot-five and over three hundred pounds of hard-earned strength, she's spent her life hauling water, running her small shop in Section Five, and surviving the quiet cruelties of a kingdom that sees her as nothing more than a "village rat." That changes the day a deadly beast crashes into her secluded waterfall-and she's forced to fight back-to-back with the kingdom's golden fourth prince, Thurnaire Mashlusk. New Story - Trial of Steel - St... What should have been a single battle spirals into scandal, political tension, and an impossible attraction. Vaneliel's sharp tongue and refusal to bow make her a target for venomous noblewomen, a foreign princess with old claims, and the expectations of an entire court. When the King revives the Crown Trials of Steel and Vaneliel secretly enters, she shocks the kingdom by cutting her way through every opponent-until she ends up facing Thurnaire himself, with her people's future and her own freedom hanging on the final clash. As blades cross and hearts stumble, Vaneliel must decide what she's truly fighting for: the right to stand on her own, or the terrifying possibility that she and this infuriating prince might actually belong at each other's side-on the battlefield, in the court, and in a life neither of them ever planned.

ETHEREAL » extremely delicate and light in a way that seems not to be of this world. ||| That full afternoon with Willow, can be summed up in three verses. A beautiful setting. lapping aquamarine waves beneath a crystal lazuli sky. A beautiful sound. melodic laughter over the lull of seagulls. A beautiful girl. Willow. ||| Poetry-ish stuff. Every family is certainly different, and the Sorrel family is no exception, to a workaholic mom, a dad who's out of work and has a temper, a 17 year old male bully, a sport and school obsessed 16 year old girl, and a 15 year old boy that has lost all faith. The family is broken and essentially unrepairable as a whole, but what if each member got the help they needed separately, then as a whole? It'd be hard to work out, nearly impossible even, but in still possible. Just barely.
