Microscopic
In a cruel, harsh world of kill or be killed, the savannah is one of the worst places to be.
the hot sun beating down on the animals scales, fur or skin, the breeze missing, the water more dangerous than you'd expect,
crocodiles, gazelles, leopards, giraffes, elephants, zebras and buffalos, cheetahs and hyenas, impala, rhinos, hippos, vultures and jackals, warthogs and meerkats, anteaters, armadillos, the odd jaguar,
None as dangerous as the one species they all fear or adore.
the lions.
a Pride, if you will.
Prides are led by a single male lion, correct? well, normally, yes they are, the male to protect the territory, the lionesses, the food.
Not this Pride. This Pride has left the tradition of male lions, being led by a single lioness who is much more direct and to the point than most Lions.
You may wonder, then how has this Pride survived this long? Well they collect stray lionesses often, cubs being more common than you'd suspect.
No one in this pride is related to each other in any way.
except the two...
