Legendary warrior Kamen Rider Geats, along with his partner Digimon and other Digimon, saved the Digital World and created a whole new Digital World. Now, the stories of the war between Geats and his partner Digimon, exist only in fairy tales or word of mouth from the Digimon. At Present time, Ishida Yamato and his friends transferred to middle high school, but by that time, they had lost contact with their Digimon partners. Therefore, Yamato is surprised to suddenly receive a distress call that summons him to the Digital World. While there, he learns that Digimon is living in fear of the mysterious Digimon Kaiser, who is somehow blocking their Digivolve abilities! In the real world, Yagami Hikari and Takaishi Takeru reunite in the same fifth grade. They share three school friends: Motomiya Daisuke, who reminds them both of Taichi; Inoue Miyako, a technical wizard; and Hida Iori, Miyako's neighbor. When the three of them receive the D-3 Digivices, they - along with Hikari and Takeru, who still possess their own original Digivices - form the new generation of DigiDestined who must save the world once again. With the power of Digimetal, they must thwart Digimon Kaiser's plan to spread their influence across the entire Digital World.

An evil Digimon army known as the Digi-doom dimension hunters from the Digi-doom dimension led by Omnibusmon has returned to take over the digital world and slave the Digimons and held the legendary Digimon tamers knowns as Tai, Davis, Marcus, and Takato captured. But 4 new Digimon Tamers known as Tawanda Sibands, Charlotte Yales, Benjamin Beastly, and Daniel Bunchers are here to rescue them and save the digital world with the help of Agumon, Veemon, Guilmon, and Agumon (Data squad) the legendary tamer's digimon partner who escaped the wrath of the Digi-doom dimension hunters safely to their world. As they set off to new adventures across different Digi-dimensions to help save the digital world and help rescue legendary Digimon Heroes.
