A teenage girl named Naina is a gifted artist from a working-class home. She believes success means winning a scholarship with a flashy golden artwork. On the same day, she discovers that her mother has secretly sold her only gold bangles to pay for Naina's entry fee, while her little brother has sold his beloved cricket bat to buy her art supplies. Naina spends the day learning that real value is not gold, but sacrifice. As evening storm clouds gather, she creates one final artwork: a single golden leaf made from scraps, thread, and light. That leaf becomes both her masterpiece and her brother's hope.
