Following the events of TRON: Ares, a young man named Sebastian Valenti has always been fond of The Grid since he was a child. Adopted by the Millers who are ranchers in the state of Texas, Sebastian has been living a miserable life there as he dreads manual labor and refuses to marry a girl named Sarah from the Hunt family whom are also ranchers. Unable to accept this normal life, Sebastian vows to find his icons, Sam Flynn and Quorra and spend his life in The Grid as a free man.

It's been months since the "Squip-cident" and the squip squad seems to have recovered and moved on from the events of the play. That is until the squip returns, but now with no past knowledge of there actions. The only thing they can remember is Jeremy, and they don't know why. Everyones lives are suddenly turned upside down as the squip is now their friend, but can they tell them of there past?

The setting is central Wisconsin during the Great Depression. Like most towns, the inhabitants of Chandlers Bend are hanging on, making due with what little they have, waiting for the day when prosperity returns. Once a hub of robust rail traffic, now it simply became an X on the map the interlacement of two railroads, further split by a state highway. Those who stayed either lacked the good sense to leave or the resources to do so. Then one day a stranger arrived who had the resources to leave, but stayed and changed the town forever. But a town without tales ceases to survive.
