A New Armaan-Riddhima Story

This is a fanfiction based on the popular television show Dill Mill Gayye. All the characters remain the same, though certain elements from Season 2 have been reimagined. The story picks up from the point where Armaan has done everything in his power to ensure that Riddhima and Sid can lead a happy married life. Riddhima, in turn, is trying her best to commit to her marriage. Being a traditionally raised woman, she firmly believes in making it work. Added to that is the guilt and respect she harbours for Sid - in her eyes, he offered her refuge and support at a time when no one else stood by her. Now that she knows Sid has feelings for her as well, she feels she cannot be selfish and must forget Armaan. Meanwhile, Dr. Shilpa finds herself increasingly drawn to Armaan, stirring feelings of jealousy and possessiveness in Riddhima that she can no longer ignore. Story starts after the ridhima sid wedding when armaan came back. He still doesn't know about the wedding and trying to earn forgiveness from her. She doesn't have the courage to tell him that she's married and berates him whenever he apologizes for leaving her or confronts her. But here there's a twist Their friends are back and they know them in and out. Will things get sorted between Armaan Riddhima? Will the gang be able to handle them? Will they become friends again? Riddhima Gupta doesn't trust men anymore. Eversince the sexual assault she has faced at the hands of her uncle she has become a changed woman. She no longer laughs or smiles or goes out much so to avoid people especially men. But all this has a drawback as she discovers she has a soulmate that connects with her via writing on their skin. This story revolves around 4 people and their lives; Armaan, Riddhima, Rey and Taani. One couple have known each other for 2 years, but still don't get along, whereas for the other couple love happened in just a few meetings...

Armaan is supposed to get married to Anjali but falls for her younger sister Riddhima. What will happen? How will they meet? What problems will they face?

I've always written very long, drawn-out stories, with a lot of twists and turns and plot lines and characters. If you've read any of my ongoing ffs you'll know that they are slow. So, I tried to challenge myself by forcing myself to write a one-shot. It was not easy. I really struggled. But, I finally did it. This is another AR story - picking up where Sid divorces Riddhima, and RIddhima refuses Armaan's love. She plans on going to Harvard and he tries to stop her but she doesn't listen.
