Dimensia Stories

A story of a an elderly couple living their daily life. The man is slowly diminishing in cognitive capability and his wife is determined to take care of him the way he took care of her throughout his entire working life. There are times when it seems that all he can remember is the way they make each other feel. Time will determine whether that's enough.

Y/n L/n is world-known for being Natasha Romanoff's baby sister as well as Tony Stark's adoptive daughter. She has never been to a school before, but this year was different. Before worrying about getting good grades, she has to worry about being a friendly neighborhood superhero along with her best friend, Spider-Man. This next year and a half will have her go through an emotional roller coaster.

This short story was inspired by a potential future yet set in the past. What becomes confusion and weariness is the theme of this piece. Although I don't know what it is to be old, I could only guess with this mid-90s short tale.

Still thinking if a description.

A man who's always seen the world through an artistic lens, where boat railings are covered in vermilion paint under cotton candy clouds, would like nothing more than to get validation from the son who's always thought his father was crazy. What if he isn't crazy at all? What if faeries are real? What if pixies did steal his shoes? Sometimes fathers and sons have lenses that will never be focused the same. Like most of my stories, this one has a surprise ending that makes people say, "Wait! What's next?! Give me more!" If you want more after you read it, you better tell me! :) ********** This is a short story I wrote for a series of shorts I am putting together for a community education course that I hope to teach one day (maybe in retirement to keep me from going stir-crazy, though that's still quite a ways a way). I've receive so much good feedback, that I have decided to turn this short into a novel.
