Sonic, Sonia and Manic are still looking for their mother, when the Oracle sends them a message from their mother, saying that they are not triplets but quadruplets! They are not the only ones that know though. Robotnick also knows and is sending Sleet and Dingo to find her and bring her to him to be robotized. Lower ranking Dingoes can be attacked or killed at the territory owners whim, leaving everyone cautious and mistrusting.

But when she and Balto raced to get medicine for Viral bronchitis, Astra had to accept her mixed heritage of being a half wolf and half dog. But when she learned that Duke got lost. So she, Balto, and her friends went to help the plane driver, Duke who got lost in the snowy mountains in a plane while trying to get the medicine in a blizzard.
