Chris and Rex emerge as two unlikely forces that will shape the destiny of both the dinosaurs and humans trapped on the island. Rex, the island's most dominant predator, forms an unlikely connection with Chris. Despite Rex's wild nature, there is an understanding between them-both are caught between worlds, with Rex protecting his territory and Chris caught between his humanity and his nature as a hybrid predator. Together, Chris and Rex become a formidable force on the island. As new hybrid dinosaurs, created by InGen's rogue scientists, begin to terrorize both the island's dinosaurs and the remaining human survivors, Chris is forced to reveal his true abilities to protect his friends. His transformation into his Ultimasaurus form shocks the campers, who struggle to understand if Chris is friend or foe. As InGen sends mercenaries back to Isla Nublar to capture Chris and retrieve their prized "asset," the campers, along with Rex, must rally to defend the island.
