It's been 7 years since they defeated Bill. Surely he would stay dead, right? Surely "normalcy" would return to Gravity Falls. Dipper and Mabel, now in college, have gone on with their now normal lives. Until they get a call. So I posted this on like... 4 different social media accounts saying that I'd write it if it got 5 likes and all of them gave me 10 or more. So... I guess I'm writing this.

A Gravity Falls based Fanfic Dipper and Mabel find themselves a mile away from each other after one more of their futile discussions. Dipper heading up to a new mystery with an old society they thought wasn't active anymore, while questioning his own maturity and facing the danger head on. And Mabel, questioning if her love interests are this important and trying to be more sympathetic with her brother. As the story goes, they start to understand each other's feelings

Dipper and Mabel get in an argument. Dipper goes upstairs to clean up, Mabel talks with Wendy until a compromise is formed. Mabel then goes to talk with her brother, and everything is happy. (Had to make up for the abomination of Pinecest I wrote earlier on AO3...dear God.)

Sunny, (aka Y/N), lives in Gravity Falls. They've always been used to the occasional gnome and other weird things around here. When Sunny got out of school, they decided to take a bike ride to the Mystery Shack. It's been 6 years since the events of Weirdmeggedon and that fateful summer where Dipper and Mabel Pines spent their time in Gravity Falls. Each summer since the twins have always visited their Great Uncles in the town. Of course, the time with them maybe lasted about a week with the two now traveling, solving mysteries around the globe. Gravity Falls was still great though, staying in the mystery shack that Soos ran, and seeing all their friends! A boy with blonde hair, maybe only a year younger than Dipper and Mabel in appearance, wakes up in the middle of Gravity Falls forest. The two twins meet the boy as they head about the town again during their first day back. The boy seems lost and has eyes that give a strange familiarity. They end up taking him as he needs help navigating the strange town he's found himself in, but can this boy be trusted truly? --------------------------------- There are current plans to make this a series of books, this depends on my motivation though. I hope whoever finds and read this enjoys the story though. There will be only minor possible references to The Owl House and Amphibia, maybe in a future book, there will be further connections made. Mabel's Story: It's been ten years since Dipper committed suicide during her puppet show. She misses her brother dearly, but her life has continued. She has gone to college, she's even gotten engaged! Her life is exactly as she always dreamed it to be...but when the nights are dark and eerily quiet, her mind can't help but wander to the happy boy she had grown up with, and the note she found in her Grunkle's car on the drive to the hospital. Dipper's Story: Dipper's memory starts about 10 years ago when he woke up inside of a vacant theater. Since then the theater had lain dormant for years, but recently it opened up again giving the restless youth a form of entertainment...besides dreaming to see the outside world. His only friend (and the only person who can see/talk to him) is a sock puppet enhabiting his right arm named Bill. Dipper loves Bill's company, but he hates how he'll never let him go farther than the lobby. He has good reasons though. Bill says that Dipper will cease to exist if he leaves the confines of the establishment. Dipper, however, has been seeing a girl in his dreams that he feels needs his help. A girl he feels that he used to know...A girl named Mabel.

"Looks like I've got a new puppet, Pine Tree. And you can't say no to this deal..." When (Y/N) moves to Gravity Falls all the way from Kentucky, she has no idea what to expect. However, when she befriends the Mystery Twins, things start to lighten up in her life. But things change, things change...

(Set completely in canon. No ships. Angst/Fluff.) -- "-appy birthday to yoouuu!" The entire town cheered as the two twins blew out their candles on the birthday cake, long party streamers shooting off into the air and hundreds of coloured balloons all being set off all at once. -- Years later after the 'Final Battle' against Cipher (a name that was rarely spoken now, even as the anniversary of his defeat reached a decade) has been fought and won, the town of Gravity Falls is still very much in shock. Tens of homes had been destroyed, multiple families had been violently torn apart, and most devastatingly of all, hundreds of innocent lives had suddenly been lost. For most people, this might've been enough to just give up and admit defeat- to live as they had been for the past few days, in sadness and total mourning, and to spend the rest of their lives in general misery. But this, was Gravity Falls. And the people of Gravity Falls had hope. Hope that they could do more than just sit back and watch their town- THEIR little town- crumble up and disintegrate into nothing. Hope that one day things would change, that one day things could get better if they just... just tried to make the most out of what they had. Hope, that they all had each others' back. And whilst, perhaps, that hope was only small, that that hope was the only thing they had- they tried to believe in it, to cling onto it and never let it go. And soon enough, they find out that everything isn't quite just as bad as they thought it could be... at at least not yet. If they didn't even bother trying, then how could expect anything to get better in the first place? And so they did do that. They tried. They tried- and then they tried even harder when that didn't seem to work. And eventually, you know, they manage to pull through. Because this, is Gravity Falls. And in Gravity Falls... nothing is ever impossible when you've got someone else there to help you and have your back. --
