The air hung heavy with the scent of freshly tilled earth, and the couple pedaled their bicycles with a quiet determination. Their faces were etched with grief, eyes swollen from tears shed at the hospital just hours ago. Raj and Meera had lost their new born son, a fragile life that slipped away before it had a chance to take root. The hospital staff had been kind, but their condolences couldn't ease the ache in their hearts. They needed closure, a final act of love for the child they would never hold. The farm, nestled on the outskirts of the village, was their destination. It was a place of solace, where the earth cradled memories and whispered secrets. The couple dismounted, their legs trembling from the emotional weight they carried. The sunflowers, once vibrant and golden, now drooped as if mourning alongside them. They somehow fetched the spade from the shed, its wooden handle worn smooth by years of use. The soil yielded reluctantly, as if reluctant to accept another tiny body.
