ලෝකය නිල් පැහැයෙන් වර්ණාලේප කර තිබුණි. දුකේ සීතල නිල් පැහැය නොව, සිහිනවල දීප්තිමත් නිල් පැහැයයි. මුහුද සහ අහස, සිහිනය සහ ඉරණම- සියල්ල එකම වර්ණයක් ගෙන ගියේය. නොකියූ ප්‍රේමයේ පැහැය, ආත්ම දෙකකට නිමක් නැති වපසරියක පවා එකිනෙකා සොයා ගත හැකි බවට නිහඬව පොරොන්දු විය. රහස් මුමුණන වර්ණයක්, කිසිදා නිම නොවන අහසක්, තම රළ හරහා ඔවුන්ගේ පොරොන්දු රැගෙන ගිය සාගරයක්. ඔවුන් ප්‍රතිවිරුද්ධ වූ නමුත් ලෝකයට නොපෙනෙන නූලකින් බැඳී සිටියේය. මෙය හුදෙක් ආදර කතාවක් නොවේ! එය වර්ණ හා හැඟීම් හරහා, කිසිදා නොයවන ලද ලිපිවල බිඳෙනසුලු සුන්දරත්වය සහ නොකියූ සත්‍යයන් හරහා යන ගමනකි. Being burnt alive is one of the most painful ways to die, they said. Hope should just be glad her daughter survived, but that wasn't enough for her. She couldn't do this any longer.
