Noa van Dijk is a second-year psychology prep student who started studying way too young and got an early internship permission because of "high potential," which is academic code for this kid is scary competent. Follow the tale of the deeply unlucky Noa van Djik, who gets carriage-kun'd into another world, develops a personal vendetta against horses and one specific crow, and somehow ends up treating emotional breakdowns that look less like therapy sessions and more like a Bendy and the Ink Machine fan convention gone horribly wrong. Soon, Noa finds themself unwillingly promoted to "therapist of Night Raven College," counseling teenagers who have never once been taught how to process emotions in a healthy way and have instead chosen violence, arson, and dramatic monologues. Can she handle being made to face her past that has hollowed her out? Can she handle the eye of a woman who can see what she tries to hide and craves to push her? Can she learn to defend herself without her own magic? Will her skills increase outside the masks she heavily relied on? Can she hide the truth of the Miraculous in this world of magic? Is the Heroine going to find herself in this school of Villains?

That's not including the many dangerous incidents his nephew gets dragged into as he collects students from all seven dorms and his newfound familiar. He isn't sure why it had to be a cat of all things. Trein can't stop being amused by it. Crowley, Head Mage of NRC, sees a prime opportunity to have a beast tamer on staff and provide an education and paying job for one of his faculty's family members. He's truly a kind and generous Head Mage! He's not sure why said teacher seems so upset with him... Okay, so maybe he assigns other duties to the child as well. But that was between the two of them. Crewel isn't in agreement. The year ahead for those at this college is set to be hectic and chaotic, what with several plots, rivalries, and insecurities coming to a head.
