"In a macabre twist of fate, the thing that took my mother away, brought my father and I closer." After Sophia's mother passed in a tragic accident, she had to find a way to bond with her once work obsessed father. When he was behind on the hay one summer, he taught her to drive. What started out as a helping hand, turned into a need for speed. From there, together, Sophia and her father Archie, have navigated the local race scene to have one of the most hated cars on the tracks. Once Sophia meets Liam, the bad boy with a checkered past enters her life, the one thing Sophia craves most, control, is no longer in her grasp.

This story is about a guy that explores junkyards and looks for historical vehicles and restores them to make them road worthy again.

A mixed bag, next handful a whole new ball game. This collection of poems was born from Sunday drives with parents as a kid and doing the same with my son. It's fun to listen to our favourite music and watch the scenery fly by. As a teenager and young adult however the side road was a place my friends and I could escape the mundanity of life and say things to each other we wouldn't say in public. I guess what I'm saying is everything I post in this collective are pieces that don't fit anywhere else, sort of a catch all anthology if you will. So please don't be shocked if the poems in this chapter are a little more out to lunch maybe even devious.
