To which Wes ever so rudely replied with a snarky remark about the quality of the muffin and what it was worth, which landed him the job as assistant manager, alongside the owner's daughter, Lydia. Both of them absolutely despise this place, and neither of them can say anything about it. And the downside is that they go to the same high school, coincidentally wind up in all of the same classes, and their 'summer secret' is gong to officially be history if they decide to rekindle their burning interest for one another. But for now, they're just going to stick to baking cakes.
