Ever wonder what Riley's head is like when Joy and Sadness aren't running around lost in her mind? Turns out, when you place five emotions together who have an... unique dynamic between each other, set them inside a girl's mind in which anything can (and will) happen, including the strange stuff, and get them involved in incidents that don't seem possible (but they make entirely possible), the results are much more interesting and hilarious than anyone could have imagined, even when she's well asleep. (I will admit it's basically inspired by "i love lucy" and its sitcom format. basically slice-of-life in riley's mind. laughing is encouraged like in "i love lucy". and yes, there will be 1950s and show-inspired jokes; bear with me here. more info is in "helpful things to know") (yes, i finally picked "inside out" for a sitcom fic, something i've been wanting to do for months now. basically: the core 5 are five comedians short of doing stand-up and i'm just seeing how that dynamic works in the sitcoms kinda similar to the ones like "i love lucy," only with a modern setting) Inside Out and its characters belong to Pixar. Any characters I make up use concepts based off of the movie, and said concepts, again, belong to Pixar. Episode inspirations and references are based off of "I Love Lucy."

Time is a story of a young teen boy's sacrifices for his family even after being neglected and discriminated all his life. They are no longer just feelings, but substances. In Nacoma, a late 2000s society previously known as the centre of England, emotions are bottled and stored by the government. President Curtis, ruler of Nacoma, has introduced the SentiVaccines - every citizen of Nacoma, when they reach the age of sixteen, has four vaccinations against the four negative basic human emotions: fear, anger, disgust and sadness. Those who do not comply, those who retain these emotions somehow, are sent to MisMap Correctional Facility, a place where medical experts try to "correct" them in order for them to return to Nacoma. Violet Thorburn is a fifteen-year-old girl soon to turn sixteen. However, she is not as willing as her peers to receive the vaccinations. After all, we are born with negative emotions...are they not worth having?
