Based on real stories... Not suitable for readers under 16 years old. I spent a long time trying to understand how I ended up here. Whether it was love, loneliness, fate... or simply coincidences that I insisted on calling a story. For years, people came into and left my life like seasons that never stay for too long. Some left gentle marks, others left scars that took me years to understand. And there were those who, even after leaving, never truly disappeared from inside me. I confused feelings. I confused presence with permanence. I confused care with love. And I confused longing with destiny. There was a boy from my childhood who never stopped existing in my memory, even after disappearing from my life without explanation. There was another who appeared in the middle of chaos, made me laugh when I no longer knew how, and later showed me that not every feeling is enough to hold two people together. And there were also those moments when I thought I was living a dream... until I realized dreams can hurt too. I grew up believing love was about intensity. Later, I discovered it was also about absence. And even later, I understood it was about choices. I wasn't always strong. Most of the time, I was only trying not to fall apart while pretending everything was fine. And between falls, silences, and new beginnings, I was losing myself... and finding myself at the same time. Today, looking back, I realize it was never about who stayed or who left. It was about what remained inside me. And maybe this story isn't about them. Maybe it's about everything I needed to learn in order to finally understand a question that has followed me since the beginning: What are we, really?

The Weight of Umbrellas is a lyrical tale of longing and disillusionment, set against the backdrop of Andhra Pradesh from the 1980s to the 2010s. For thirty years, Nitya carries within her an imagined love-an idea nurtured in silence and distance. When reality finally arrives, it bears the weight not of poetry but of ledgers and practicalities. This is not a story of marriage fulfilled, but of how dreams themselves can be the purest form of love-fragile, elusive, and ultimately, enough.

It is the last year of school, changes are afoot and everything new is awaited with great expectation, "everything" except love. Caroline is used to the order of her life and enjoys the stability she has, especially the control of her emotions because in her seventeen years she has never known love, until it comes into her life: Him! Rudolph is a rebellious, unstable and tremendously capricious young man, his parents no longer know what to do with him or how to help him be someone in life, there is no passion in the boy and the only visibly "good" thing he has is his unquestionable physical attractiveness. "I bet your Love" is a story filled with a multitude of intense emotions, (most of them unknown to the protagonists and those around them), important decisions for those who begin to know the meaning of their lives and the encounter with the most beautiful and cruel truth. Inspired on real facts and with tinges of fiction so that the reader can better enjoy this adventure of first love. © Copyright.

"Let's play a game," he whispers playfully into my ear. I hum and turn my head, "Twenty-two questions?" I ask instantly, a grin tugging at the edges of my cheeks. He smiles adorably, again, indicating a yes as he nods. My stomach flutters as his smile melts my heart. He snakes his arm around my waist in a hug. Oh Irene please let me stay here. "What do your lips taste like?" I shake my head and he releases his hold of me. Nooo. I knit my eyebrows together. I move and lean on the door frame facing him from the opposite, "I don't know... why don't you taste them for me," I hint, a cheeky smile creeping onto my face once again. He leans forward, smirking as he steps forward getting closer to my face. His breath hits my face, he slides his arm around my back and then unexpectedly he bites my lip. "Mmm... mango," he says softly. He then presses his lips up to mine and our lips intertwine, I wrap my hands around his neck as I savour our kiss. +++ Twenty-four-year-old Aphmau Jessica Pheonix finds herself at the beginning of a new relationship, being in a new relationship meant she had finally chosen between Laurance, Garroth & Aaron. Aaron captured her heart when he asked her to be his girlfriend at the convention a month ago and life has never been better. But when strange things start happening with Aphmau, everyone begins to question what's wrong with her. Unfortunately, the unexpected happens and Aaron and Aphmau's relationship takes a harsh turn. And as more ships begin to sail, read on to find out which hearts get mended, broken, and even stolen. This Fan Fiction is based on the MyStreet series and mixed with some of Minecraft Diaries. Say, a server in a hotel, if only he senses his service at the tables as a contribution to the society at large, notwithstanding his modest earnings, still the quality of his fulfillment could be immeasurable. Thus, expanding on Peter Drucker's 'a first-rate truck driver is better than a tenth-rate executive' we can say that the former could feel fulfilled on account of his sense of contribution, which would be beyond the grasp of the latter despite his material overreach. So, that is how the sense of contribution is the source of fulfillment in life that mere contentment cannot bring about.

If this were Ancient Greece, what heroes and myths would we be creating to explain our current universe? This poetry series deals with the current state of the Hero myth in modern western society. Do we still believe in real-life heroes today? Do we reserve this thought only for films and fiction and a source of entertainment? Why have our ideals about North American freedom and opportunity become so cynical and pessimistic and conservative? For more details: https://anamericanhero.wordpress.com/
