Luka is a polite introverted college student whose life begins to unravel when his girlfriend of three years leaves him. He soon finds himself unable to maintain his grades and pay his rent. Working full-time while sleeping in his car, Luka decides to spend the last bit of money he has on a lottery ticket, and he wins. Luka finds that unimaginable wealth doesn't come with an instruction manual, and he's left wondering how to spend it. A series of events leads him to begin asking people the most literal interpretation of a question his best friend Jean-Paul used to ask him. "May I have your big toe?"

Sylas is a 17 year old piano prodigy who has lost the will to pursue what was once his greatest passion. His mother is very supportive of who he is, his father would do anything to have Sylas pursue another career. This play is supposed to deliver a message about how those who can't communicate exactly the same as everyone else aren't any less significant or intelligent. People shouldn't be belittled and forced to change just because of who they are or what they aren't

Love? Maybe. Time disillusioned everything.

What is the purpose of thought? Is truth discernible? Can life have meaning without an objective truth? What does this mean to the individual? Such questions are considered by Leon on his philosophical journey. Dispersed throughout this journey are interruptions that influence his thought, along with poetic illustrations of experiences that are common to all humanity.

His parents died years ago in a fire leaving him with a hideously scarred face he also has a horrible condition from a brain injury he had falling down the stairs of his house in the fire that causes random outbursts of various emotion he can't control. He now works for a small wage and rents a trashy apartment and is never respected by his co-workers. Ostracized by society and constantly looked down upon, the poor teen begins to become disillusioned with reality as he's slowly transformed into a madman...
