BOOK TWO OF THE REBELLION TRILOGY Defiance is not a game played by the weak of heart. "And is he still the same boy you grew up with? The man you fell in love with?" Queen Anne sips her wine, eyes determined to extract a truth she is unsure of herself. Brielle straightens her shoulders and raises her chin, defiance burning in her lungs. "No one is the same person they were at childhood. He is every part of my heart as he is of yours despite your lack of showing it. " Her heels riot in the halls, clicking against the floors with a determination she found in the forgotten dungeon of Iylion. Harry may not be the same, but neither is she.

For years sailors and fishers alike were told not to venture deep into the sea. They were told of a curse that befell anyone who dared venture into the deep. Till one day, a tourist named Kahlia Evans thought it would be a good day to go sailing deep in the darkest part of the sea. She ignored all of the warnings that the locals had given her and still went on a boat by herself. The day was beautiful and clear as she reached the prettiest patch of sea that she had ever seen. The water glimmering and shining as the sun shone on it. Little did she know, a predator lay lurking behind one of the shadowed boulders underwater. The water suddenly went rough as her boat was viciously rocked back and fourth till it tipped over. Struck with fear, she struggles to stay above water. A scaly and slimy hand gripping her ankle and forcefully dragging her underwater. She screamed as she plummeted down below, her head hitting a boulder as she blacks out. She's let go as she sinks deeper and deeper into the ocean. The sea placing a curse on the young woman and turning her into a siren. Will she ever escape the curse? Or will she be forever trapped as a siren underneath the waves with no memory?

This is an essay I wrote when as a punishment for when I was disobedient. I didn't like what I did and didn't want to write it, but if I didn't, I'd be grounded for three weeks. So, here is what I wrote. Maybe you'll like it. PLEASE NOTE contains Bible verses to prove a point, not to be religious.

Mikandra Bisumar is useless to her father: she carries the curse of infertility that plagues the nobility of Miran. Forced to work in the hospital to pay her duty to her nation, she dreams of becoming a Trader, one of the people who have brought great prosperity to Miran in the past. To her surprise Iztho Andrahar, the city's most prestigious Trader, has agreed to take her on. That is where her problems begin. Her father is so angry with her that she has to leave her home. Secondly, because they import foreign produce and technology, the nation's Traders are no longer held in high regard. Worse, the Andrahar Traders have been served a court summons for smuggling. Iztho has disappeared and the business license suspended, and his aloof brothers were never too keen on training her. In the last meeting Mikandra had with him, Iztho mentioned getting married to a woman from neighbouring city-state of Barresh. His brothers don't seem to know about this and she thinks he has eloped. Going to Barresh by herself without ever having left the country is probably not the smartest idea, but she's desperate for him to come back, prove his innocence and make good his promise to her. A robbery, a job with a local authority and a couple of ex-army friends later, she's made some shocking discoveries about herself, her nation and the nature of her people's fertility and mental problems. In doing so, she is facing the pointy end of the Mirani campaign to rid the country of those who "consort with foreigners". Her actions have brought herself, her family and the last hope for the Andrahar Traders in great danger.

Her dad died. She now lives with her mom and step-dad. She hates his guts and he hates hers. Secrets and Lies will come to light. What will happen when she finds out the truth about her step-father? Adriana Queens, the popular girl with lots of enemies. You think school stress would be enough but imagine coming home to a cruel step-dad. "If I was your real father, I would've never let you leave the house last night." He began as I groaned, "You're a pathetic high school whöre!" He continued and I smiled, there was the insulting Hanson, he always came around when my mom was gone. "What? Didn't get sex last night that's why you're in a pissed mood?" I asked with a smirk causing him to turn around and glare at me. "You were a mistake! Your mother tells me that every night before I hit her from behind!" He gritted as he poured the mix onto the pan and I guess for my bad behavior he spat right into the mix. "Fűcking ašshole!" I shouted as I grabbed my bag walking out of the house and slamming the door. // Contains Hard Language. Violent Scenes.

Were those kids. Were those kids your parents warn you to stay away from. The kids who do drugs, smoke cigarettes, and drink beer. We're the kids who pick on the easily influenced. The ones who hang out in the bad parts of town. The guys who break hearts and get drunk. And the girls who dance on tables and make out with several different guys at just one party. We're those kids. And I'm one of those girls.
