The Kingdoms of Aspora Rei and Xeltia Empora are struggling with poverty, war, as well as many other things. To prevent this from continuing, a treaty between the two Kingdoms is formed by arranging marriages between all of their children. Aspora had three heirs, but Xeltia only had two. One pair was willing to get married for their Kingdoms sakes. Another pair actually wanted to get married because they loved each other. But the King and Queen of Aspora Rei stated that the only way the treaty was going to be completed was if their youngest son, Nyx, had an arranged marriage as well. So Rowan, a Servant with secret Royal blood, was pulled away from his poverty-ridden life to become Nyx's partner and the future King of Xeltia. The only issue? Nyx and Rowan absolutely despise each other.

"my dad hates me and now so does yours," she chuckled. "why does your dad hate you?" "because I remind him of what he wants to forget," she laughed even more."at least he doesn't lie like my mom; she tells me she loves me." a tear, which she quickly wiped away, escaped from her eye despite her laugh.

"I wouldn't do that love" "And just why not?" I said enraged as I howled and screamed pleads of help into the stale air of the dungeon from the edge of the cell. "Because the help you want, will not be the type of help you're going to get." Said the beautiful man locked in the cell beside me. "Sorry that I haven't resigned from trying to get out of this hellhole like you have." I hissed as I looked the God-like creature up and down, scowling. There was a clank, then the creek of the door to the prison as it swung open and three guards strode in. "You've done it now, love" the man beside me sighed quiet enough for only me to hear as the guards approached. "Hello Purity, a little lonely are we?" the largest guard with the hard face smirked as his eyes wandered down to the skin that was exposed through the remnants of my white dress. One of the other guards unlocked the door to the cell. "That is not my name." I spat as the men threw open the door. "Your name is whatever your master grants you Temptress!" the guard roared as he seized my bony forearm in his huge, rough palm. I was lunched from the stone floors and dragged across the halls towards the old wooden door leading out of the prison and into the palace. "Don't fight, love. You'll only hurt more." The man in the cell called to me resignedly, but I was too preoccupied to process his warning. Master? Temptress? I'm a Temptress?

This is an essay I wrote when as a punishment for when I was disobedient. I didn't like what I did and didn't want to write it, but if I didn't, I'd be grounded for three weeks. So, here is what I wrote. Maybe you'll like it. PLEASE NOTE contains Bible verses to prove a point, not to be religious.

The kingdom of Ifite had a complex tradition that differed from other kingdoms in Igboland. The kingship was nonlinear - it circulated among the families favoured by Ikukuike, the only deity in the land. The chosen family would rule for a period of eight seasons. The orator of the deity served office for a lifetime, and it alternated between a woman and a man. The next mouthpiece was chosen by the deity himself a moon after the former had passed on. The kingdom had a stream running before the shrine of the deity, and anyone who had come to consult had to pass through it before entering. It was known as the sacred stream of purity yet there was more to it that nobody, not even the Ezemmuo knew about. This was an agrarian community sufficient through favours of the deity. Ijemmiri was invited to work for the palace after she was favoured by the queen. She couldn't have turned down the offer because in Ifite serving royalty was an honour. Igwe Ojemba had one season to go before the crown would be shifted to around family. There wasn't any opposition to this tradition until Lolo Nneora conspired with a Dibia in the neighbouring kingdom to influence the spiritual realms that decided the next ruler. She made sacrifices so that the kingship would eternally remain in the lineage of her husband, the king. The death of Ezemmuo came as an opportunity to her, thinking that her disobedient plan would fruition. Little did she know that the maid she favoured was the next Ezenwanyi.

There are things that should be kept as a secret for a reason. Anyone who dares must be responsible enough to face the consequences they looked up into.
