Our history is not perfect. It is filled with hate, discrimination, disparity, and inequality. Hundreds have suffered under the name of freedom and hundreds continue to do so in modern times. Here are their stories.

A poem I wrote a few years ago following a breakup I went through, in which I knew nothing could be done to change anything yet I still hoped for some sort of future. Through this misfortune I was very focused on the "what ifs" and "what could have beens" rather than trying to cope, understand, reflect, learn, and move on. This poem focuses on my understanding of the difference between what I feel and what I know. The poem hints at both these aspects throughout, focusing on both moving on and knowing how hard it is.

A nameless traveler tries to reconcile the stark contrast in wealth that he witnesses on a stroll through the city. Filled with existential despair and acerbic wit these short stories or, 'lamentations,' grapple with themes ranging from contemporary politics, to God and religion, to the absurdity of everyday existence. A poem I wrote while looking around at all my discarded writings and notes that I cannot bear to throw away.

Two students' lives change forever when they discover the underground, the isolated home for monsters. Jamie and Ben unexpectedly meet the monsters that once roamed the earth. However when they do not everything goes as they thought it would. What happens when they find out the truth about their friends and fellow humans. However all is not as it seems between Jamie and Ben. Something is wrong and no one is sure how to rectify it.

I was drunk by wild mirages. Fenced in by creatures behind the shadows of misery. All the virtues draped in ghastly cruelties. To whom I should fear .... I am the dispart of my hallucination.
