histórias de Disregard

This one of the very first poems I wrote. I was into free verse back then so it reads like a short story but the imagery makes it a poem. I wrote it about a love gone bad. I was in love but knew that I needed to get out. How often does the heart listen to the head though?

How much does it take for the average human to break and give in to insanity? Claire Ball, an average 26 year old female, always wanted something exciting to happen to her. So, through her foolishness and disregard of future consequences, she signed herself up to be part of an experiment which was being conducted by 2 middle aged men named Robert DeGeorgio and Ben Wozalski. She thinks the experiment is nothing harmful, but she soon falls victim to their evil intentions. Soon enough, Claire will learn the hard way that she needs to take caution and smart choices.

Assalamualaikum! To whoever is reading this. Jazakallah for giving my book a try. Even if it's only the description that you're reading. Without further ado; let's begin! Mahira is the only daughter of a rich and successful business tycoon. She's been blessed with unusual beauty and wealth. She gets what she wants; the way she wants it. Refusal and disregard: the two words do not exist in her dictionary. She's proud and is a non practicing Christian. Zain is a twenty-two year old Pakistani. He comes to London with his twin, Iqra to do ACCA. He's a Muslim and loves his religion. The twins find it hard to live in the foreign land; missing the familiarity of their own soil. This is a story of longing, struggles, relationships and repentance. It's a story of the many lives of the characters that've been included within it. How realistic is it? That's something I'd like the reader to tell me. Enjoy! Allahafiz!
