I hardly ever heard a word out of her mouth during High School. I think you know the type. Sat in the back of the class. Kept to herself when asked anything. Never made eye-contact if she could help it. An enigma. A riddle. Emelia.

Blissfully unaware of the raging plague, Elizabeth Talbot lives it up in Jamaica. Her fun comes to a screeching halt when the pool bar suddenly shuts down. She and her friends are placed in quarantine.

2 years has passed since the pandemic broke out across the country of Almatia, and no cure has ever been found. The people of Granden found stability by following the distance rule, curfew laws, and monitoring everyone's health through a detector that looks suspiciously like the ones in the airport ran by an artificial intelligence.
