That is our great glory, and our great tragedy." Wise words whispered by Maester Aemon which Jon Snow was bound by duty and honor to obey. Taking the Black, to Jon, always meant that he would never accidentally foster a bastard like himself- this he wanted even if it meant to never love a woman. Upon returning to Winterfell for his first time since leaving, he finds the girl who makes him wish he never spoke the words which bound him. Will the Stark brothers both retain their honor? Will Brooke make her choice? Is the heat of brotherly competition too strong for Brooke to withstand? And most importantly- Will her decision end up tearing the remains of the North apart? I do not own any of the characters other than Brooke- she alone comes from my imagination.
