In a new post-apocalyptic word, chances of finding life are near to none in the overgrown town of Blackridge, the civilisation that had so quickly collapsed. After waking up injured and alone in an abandoned hospital bed, Carter quickly learns that some form of execution and evacuation had taken place, causing her to grow confused and cautious. She had no where to really go, other than wander the uninhabited town. That is until she finds someone during her travels out of the town to a city that is a close distance to the town. On their way they run into a group of people who claim to have good intentions, but soon show their true colours as time passes on. After experiencing near death, Carter went through immense heart break before wanting to find more people, people that weren't part of Blackridge, to find answers on what actually took place in her home town while she was in a deep slumber in hospital. Will she find her answers or will she run into something much worse than that?

"I despise you more than I've ever despise lizards, Henry Styles" I said while pausing at each word to add the thrill and while pointing at him. "It's Harry" he huffed. "Do I look like I care?" I said while raising my right eyebrow. "You'll love me" he said. "Don't be so sure about everything, Styles" that's all I said before he left. Everything's possible and I don't wanna know.
