"Amandi." A name that means 'trust no one' in Nigerian. While their true identity remains a mystery, this anonymous host has a reputation for being controversial in terms of questioning the status quo and serving as the voice of the underdogs. How can anyone ever trust someone like Amandi especially when this person just showed up out of nowhere and already has a huge platform? What could he or she possibly be hiding? Join Milo and his friends as they deal with college, new faces and a huge mystery that could ultimately break their friendship. PUBLISHED: 7/21/2024 FINISHED: - - - ••• *NOTE: I highly encourage people to read "The Case of The Red Bubble" first before picking up this book. Also, don't let the number of parts fool you as each chapter is typically shorter. The primary target audience is between ages 15-21.

Earth died a long time ago. Space no longer proved the endless unknown. Humanity had risen, building empires across galaxies and expanded as knowledge fueled the ages of human dominance. However, even that was a long time ago. Having conquered all, and evolved to no longer embody the race that had once dwelt upon the dead star system of Sol, humanity had developed into a species of tedium and apathy. To one of the ship-bound species of space-faring humans, space seemed and opportunity, a vastness worth exploring. Yet even to a seemingly ageless being, there could always be something unexpected.

After the Great War of Ancient Man the Earth was almost destroyed. Poison filled the air, the earth, and the water, but life always finds a way. A millennia later the poison has mutated the creatures of Earth, including it's people. They are split into tribes that live on what's left of an inhabitable Earth. Carlie and Tave are from different tribes, that much is obvious when they have their chance encounter in the woods. In an unfamiliar world Carlie will discover just how important her own people are, but returning to them means leaving Tave and his world behind. **Note** I lost the creative train to this story some months back. When I found it again, it was a completely different story. The story is now in the 1st person, and the plot started to change around Chapter 4. Please note this version does have the Mature rating turned on. Cover made using Wattpad Cover app. I gave found using google image search.

100 years after the Great Meltdown, where almost all the electronics in the world spontaneously malfunctioned and caught fire all at once, the world had become a technology-free paradise. The people lived the life of those who'd lived over a thousand years ago in the 18th and 19th centuries. Electronics are outlawed, and the people have discovered magic as a substitute. This is the world that Iris Matthews was born into in 2920. Now 17, Iris has developed an unquenchable thirst for knowledge about what life was like before the Great Meltdown, but talk of it is forbidden, as well any books about it. Her parents push her to forget her silly curiosity and start thinking about marriage, no matter how many times she says she doesn't like her suitors. But one day her life changes forever when she finds Desdemon, a handsome cyborg who was made illegally and is on the run from the police. Against her better judgement, Iris takes him in, hoping he'll be able to tell her about life before the Meltdown. What she doesn't plan on, however, is falling in love.

I sat on the ledge of the apartment complex looking down at passers by. A key from my father was all he left behind for me. "If I end it now, I would be at peace."I said to myself. Unknown to me, my aunt sold me to the Covenant. I was pulled off the ledge by my aunt and her daughters, they held me down as I was injected with something, pulling away and trying to fight them off I screamed. "LET ME GO YOU BITCH!!" "Why would we?" My cousins answered in unison. I felt dizzy and my body relaxed, My aunt then crouched in front of me, "The money we are going to get for selling you would take care of us for the rest of our lives ." She said with a grin on her face. I started to fade in and out of consciousness. "That money will be your downfall." I seethed at them. Just before my eyes closed two men dressed in black suits walked over to me . • • As my eyes opened, I covered them with my hands immediately, suddenly the lights were dimmed. I sat upright and took in my surroundings, the room was white with only a door and a mirror on the wall. I sat on the edge of the bed when I noticed the door opened and a man walked in. I just stared at him as he held my key in his hand. "Welcome to the Covenant." He said. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• With the death of her father still on her mind and the life she had grown accustomed to was taken away by her family. Desiree is unknowingly sold by her aunt, to the mysterious organization known as the Covenant.
