In un mondo dove gli angeli vengono uccisi per avere la loro vita eterna ed eventuali poteri Felix, un angelo gravemente ferito e con il dono di parlare con gli animali, dopo che li regno dove viveva è stato distribuito dagli umani, deve nascondersi dentro una torre abbandonata dove coltiva rose per passare il tempo e non cedere alla paura che lo possano trovare. Un giorno però Hyunjin, un umano che non ha mai ucciso, scappa ritrovandosi nella foresta dove si nasconde Felix... Felix si fiderò di lui dopo che gli uomini gli hanno sempre rovinato la vita? E Hyunjin, trovandosi proprio davanti alla creatura indifesa, riuscirà a promettergli di non fargli del male?

It is a diary from a girl who has to deal with both a rapidly changing world and being a teenager. So does she find a way or be rip from existence?

Questo breve racconto è collocabile tra gli eventi del primo e del secondo film, un anno prima del Black Out del 2022. Per comprenderlo appieno è consigliabile averli visti entrambi. Inoltre ho introdotto un concetto non discusso nei film (se ne parla nel romanzo "Ma gli androidi sognano pecore elettriche?" di Philip K. Dick da cui sono tratti i film Balde Runner e Blade Runner 2049), cioè la palta (kipple), il caos, l'inesorabile entropia che sta sommergendo ogni cosa.
