Nel futuro, l'istruzione è diventata un incubo senza fine. Migliaia di studenti vivono intrappolati in un labirinto di edifici scolastici che si estendono per chilometri, in un sistema dove i professori sono simulacri senza volto e i corsi non terminano mai. Il diploma è una promessa irraggiungibile, il mondo del lavoro una favola raccontata per mantenere l'illusione. Fuori dalle mura scolastiche sembra non esserci nulla: negozi, parchi e perfino la natura potrebbero essere soltanto proiezioni. Ma cosa accadrebbe se uno studente iniziasse a dubitare dell'esistenza stessa della realtà? Un romanzo distopico che esplora il confine tra educazione e controllo, tra sogno e prigionia, tra la libertà e l'eterno inganno.

Tutto ciò che c'è da sapere sulla trilogia "Renegade": curiosità, schede personaggi, mappe, divisioni sociali e altro ancora.

Questo breve racconto è collocabile tra gli eventi del primo e del secondo film, un anno prima del Black Out del 2022. Per comprenderlo appieno è consigliabile averli visti entrambi. Inoltre ho introdotto un concetto non discusso nei film (se ne parla nel romanzo "Ma gli androidi sognano pecore elettriche?" di Philip K. Dick da cui sono tratti i film Balde Runner e Blade Runner 2049), cioè la palta (kipple), il caos, l'inesorabile entropia che sta sommergendo ogni cosa.

Please note this is also my first story so go easy on me. i'll try to post often enough please let me know of any grammatical mistakes just don't be mean about it. i thought of this story a while back and i felt i should actually start writing it now. if you do read it i hope you enjoy.
