When Kira Blackwood's name is reaped, she knows she's screwed. How is she supposed to survive in a fight to death with twenty-three other tributes, all of whom want to get out alive as much as she does? Not to mention, the thought of killing somebody twists her stomach into all sorts of unnatural shapes. Despite secretly training for the Games in the cow pastures surrounding her home, and being pretty handy with a knife, Kira's kind heart may be the thing that holds her back the most. However, as she navigates through the opulent world of the Capitol, and then the arena itself, Kira starts to realize that maybe, just maybe, it's not the dead she should pity, but the Victor. All usurpers were executed (except those pesky star-crossed lovers, who knows where they ran off to), District 13 was destroyed for good (but District 12 was rebuilt, on the basis that the Capitol realized that it actually really needed coal), and the Hunger Games were reinstated. I say. "I don't know. I'd love to fight them but if we were to fight back we'd lose. But I do know as long as we have each other, that's all we'll need. The three of us could take care of each other. I mean we already do." Gale tells us. "Well that's what best friends are for right? Is that enough though." Katniss adds looking to the field taking another bite of bread. "Definitely." This is the story of Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins, with a twist: It's from peeta's pov. After the third quarter quell games, Peeta Mellark is captured by the capitol, subjected to torture, pain, and fear. Peeta fights mentally within himself against the Capitol to keep himself sane. Will he be able to do it? Or will he let the Captiol turn him into just another piece in their games?

This is about the untold story of Ryelee Mellark - the twin sister of Peeta Mellark. She is the definition of suffering; winning around five games herself. Her brother is her best friend and she can't stand to watch him in the games.
