I'm Camille Speare and I live in District 1 in Panem. The district that I live in is a career district. That means that selective kids in my district train their whole lives, in secret from the Capitol, just so they can enter the games so when they get into the arena they get all the glory and their lives when they win. Well I am one of those tributes. I've trained for the games since I was little. I'm sure you've heard all about the lovely Panem. It rose up out of the ashes after war and tragedy struck the land. The 13 Districts, well only 12 now, and the Capitol made sure that the land survived and the people. Well all the districts went to war with the Capitol and long story short the Capitol won the 13th District was eradicated off the map and we had to pay for our treasons. Which is how the Hunger Games came started. I got chosen for the games myself. What I saw in there made me change my mind. What happened in there made me change who I was myself. One never forgets the arena or what had happened in there. You relive it whenever you closer your eyes at night. Well this is my story on how the career tribute who loved her district and her government became the rebel.

Training for the Hunger Games and volunteering is the age old method adopted by District 1 as a form of protection of our young. The system is flawless. You train, you compete against the kids in your year in the academy and the best get the honour of going to the Hunger Games. I stare at my reflection picking apart every aspect of my appearance until I am disgusted myself. How can I trust anything anymore? How could this go so wrong? How is my entire life crumbling at my feet? How is everything I've been taught so desperately wrong? How will I allow my one true love die at my hands? This story follows Celeste Liora and Cassio Silver and their journey through the 62nd hunger games.

Birdie, no longer a chick in her nest, with the help of her career allies strikes up rebellion against the Capitol. Will she be the new Mockingjay? Or better yet, the new Nightingale? All we can do is hope..
