The Snow's have risen again. The games have risen again. A whole new Era... Hope Dandelion from district 11 is just 12 years old when she saves her friend from the 74th hunger games of the second Era. The next thing she knows, she's being torn away from her family, dressed up as a capitol doll, and shoved into a deadly arena to fight to the death. She makes some unlikely alliances, but of course only one has the chance to survive. And then there's chance, hope's 13 year old district partner...

What if when Rue was reaped someone volunteered for the young girl? Rue's 16 year old adopted sister did. Her parents were traitors to the capital so as a punishment they stole their beautiful and only child and left her in a place they could never look for her...District 11. There Rue's parents took pity on the young child and raised her as their own. Though she knew she wasn't their child as she was very very different from everyone in the district with her red curls, sky blue eyes and pale skin. She was District 11's darling as she was so kind and gentle and had many boys falling at her feet though she was to oblivious to notice but she would do anything for her adopted siblings...even DIE for them. She volunteers when Rue's name is called and ends up winning only for her sister to die a year later in the 74th hunger games. Then for the 75th games President Snow has a little twist for the quarter quell! (I do not own this story I only own my character Rosemary and her background...it's going to take place in catching fire and Rue is going to be 13 when she is reaped so her adopted sister is a victor the year before she dies and is heartbroken about her little sisters death when she is sent back into the arena)

Sometimes, when she can, she likes to sneak away at night into the woods and teach herself about the wild. She's amazed by how you can learn how to eat pine trees and make a fire if you just try. She has a pretty good life in District 11, I guess... but when she's reaped for the hunger games on her first year, her life shatters... how will she survive, being the youngest? Will she ever see home again?...

Thomas finds himself a tribute of district 3 He will do whatever it takes to get out alive but when he finds himself growing attached to the people he was planning on killing one a little more then the others things get a little more difficult Newt finds himself a tribute of district 11 He didn't plan on making it out alive he just didn't want to die forgotten like hundreds of tributes before him but when he starts to like some of his fellow tributes one a little to much he might want to survive after all I edit stuff a lot small things might change every now and then
