Every year children are at risk to be chosen to participate in the hunger games. Though Adelaide gets lucky to not get picked for the 72nd annual hunger games. After relief of not getting chosen she ends up meeting a past victor from district 11. She falls in love with him but can't escape her last year at the reaping. On the unfortunate turn of events she gets chosen in the 73rd annual hunger games. Her lover and past victor choses to be her mentor while she trains hard to show her skills. She ends up winning and gets to come back home with her lover to live their life together peacefully. Though the peace doesn't last long as President Snow brings in past victors for the 75th annual hunger games. During the reaping she gets chosen as she's the only female winner of her district. Her lover volunteers and Adelaide is heartbroken for the reason that there can only be one victor. What she doesn't know is there is an alternate plan to save certain tributes to fight against the capitol. (I just re-watched the hunger games and had a burst of motivation to write something. This is probably so bad but it's fine). (I used a picture of tom hardy but feel free to imagine his character as anyone you want).

Thirteen has always been considered an unlucky number. If you want proof, then just look at what happened to District 13! (*wink wink*) When the 13th Annual Hunger Games rolls around, everyone hopes that luck will be on their side. Yet for Aeyia Farr, this doesn’t seem like it’ll be the case. As one of the youngest tributes in this year's games, she doesn't stand a chance. Or at least, that's what she thinks... Twenty four tributes are forced into an arena to fight to the death on live TV for the entertainment of the Capitol, but only one can survive.
