Have you ever wondered what Suzanne Collins' novel, Catching Fire, was like from Finnick's POV? This story takes you to District 4, to the Capital, and into the arena, all with Finnick Odair telling the story.

Finnick Odair, winner of the 65th Hunger Games. Nellie Shepard, an ordinary girl from District 4. They were best friends before Finnick got sucked into his games, but when Finnick came back he completely pushed Nellie away and Nellie slowly but surely grew to hate him. But what happens when Nellie's only friend Annie Cresta is harvested for the 69th Hunger Games? I don't own the Hunger games story or characters except Nellie.

What if Katniss was the one who was captured by the Capitol at the end of Catching Fire? What if Peeta was the one with the rebels? This fanfiction is in the perspective of Peeta Mellark. I have used some of the same information and dialogue from the books by Suzanne Collins, but as the story goes on it's pretty much my work. :) This story is uncompleted and I've only released the first chapter. But when Mari spills a Capital secret, President Snow will do everything in his power to make sure she dies in the Games, and suffers while doing so. Unknowingly, she becomes a symbol of hope for the Districts and sparks rebellion. They call her The Mermaid. Even if she does live long enough to be rescued from the arena, she doesn't realize what the consequences will be if she makes it out alive. this is a fan-fiction about the origins of district 13 and a continuation of lucy gray's story, based on the hunger games: ballad of the songbirds and snakes after running away from power-driven coriolanus snow, lucy gray starts a life in the yet to be domesticated outskirts of panem, which, in the future will be whats known as district 13, a secret anti-capitol district outside of district 12.
