Years after the Capitol was taken down, President Snow's grandson raises to power and manages to win back the place his grandfather lost to the revolution. After a few more years, The Hunger Games would return yet with new rules. Considering everyone that could fight him a threat, Snow decides to include ages 12 - 40 to the reaping, making the games even more challenging and change the arena every year to make things more interesting for the people.
In the day of the reaping for the 22nd New Hunger Games in District 6, Cobalt Galloville's name is picked from the glass ball, sending the 20 year old to the death battle.
28 years later, on the 50th anniversary, Cobalt Galloville, the first winner for District 6 in the new Era, now 48, is reaped again. But last time games with previous victors occurred it was the capitol's last stand. And Cobalt is intending to do the same.
