This Odair "massacre" goes against all statistics and Ember will have to end her childhood too soon, forced to grow up early by the horrible world into which she was born. She will have to understand what and who is behind all this, defeat her inner demons and learn to do the most important thing of all in a place like Panem: accept death, even of the people she loves.
