The 100th Hunger Games- and the third Quarter Quell- have now launched into action. A very special twist is set into these Games, and it's one that only gets more horrifying the more you think about it.

Ever since the 2nd quarter quell viewership for the hunger games has been depleting. Because of this president snow has a huge announcement. This year they would be doubling the hunger games. Two more tributes one more arena 46 more lives. River floris just wanted to put reaping day in the back of his mind. But just as he was about to walk off free his name was pulled. Now River would be entering on of the biggest and most challenging games in history. Can he pull it off and return home or will the worse happen to him?

The Games had been destroyed after the rebellion of the Mockingjay; they were a horrific memory of our Nation's history. Unfortunately the Capitol was able to rebuild their society and gain control of all the districts once again after almost three decades of war with the Rebels. It had been exactly twenty-five years since Panem was under the control of the one and only infamous Snow family, now once again they were in charge and had power. The leader of our nation, the President of Panem was the granddaughter of the one and only Coriolanus Snow; her name was Cassia Snow. Cassia Snow would of been able to be freshly reaped; if she weren't a child of the Capitol, when the rebellion lead by the Mockingjay happened. It had been an eerily two and a half decades since Katniss had beaten her grandfather, President Coriolanus Snow. Specifically a silver jubilee later, almost as if a sick twisted joke from fate his granddaughter was now the President of our Nation. She made it her life mission to not only rebuild Panem and The Hunger Games but to ameliorate them as she put it. It had been a quarter century and still Cassia Snow had been affected by the rebellion of the Mockingjay. She wanted to punish Katniss Everdeen for the destruction she had caused the Snow family, The Capitol of Panem, and the everything they had worked for. However what if another rebellion was on the horizon, what if there was a new saviour for the Districts of Panem, but what if the new rebellion wasn't lead by Katniss or her children. Follow the story of Signiall Hardgrove a shy, intelligent seventeen year old from District Three as he is reaped into the One-Hundredth Quarter Quell.

After 500 years of pain, courage, and sacrifice, President Calypso Snow decides the punishment has went on long enough, and that this should be the final year of the games. And everything, including these games need to blow out with a Big Bang. That's why the Capitol's last quarter quell slip read "In reminder that the past is never truly behind us, every single previous quarter quell twist will be incorporated into this year's games." Who'll be the final reigning victor of the games? Only time'll tell, so Happy Hunger Games, and may the 500th hunger games begin!
