Professor Morehouse otherwise know as Shark Bate was doing research in a lab off the coast of the Florida keys. In this lab he was testing chemicals on tiger sharks in hopes of finding a cure for cancer. Something went horribly wrong creating Ballem. A creature who would cause havoc on Miami leaving only death and destruction. Shark Bate needed to put a stop to his creating. And save the woman he would soon call his wife.

I am not the first one like me. What I am is known as a Discord. I come from a time known for its divisions, but we like it this way. Each person has what we call a Profession. A Profession determines what kind of person you will become. It determines where you will be for years and years. It is you at the most basic level. You are either a Angelic Pacifist or a Determined Destroyer. I am neither, that is what makes me a Discord. However, I may just dissolve these divisions once and for all. But I really, REALLY just want to live my life as a simple Pacifist like my grandparents. Or as a Destroyer like my parents... Oh yeah, did I mention that? What can a person do to catch a break around here?!

Well it's finally time. After years and years of false world endings, this one was actually true. No it isn't like the entire world caved in or the sun crashed into earth. This one happened much more slowly. The weather patterns over the past 20 years have been becoming more intense and random leading to this one day the entire system collapsed. There is no warm, only hot or cold. There is no moist, only flooded or bone dry. Either pitch black or enough to blind you in one look outside.  It has come to the end and two new friends have to work their way through this disaster. Sawyer and Bridget are on the verge of being a alive and dead constantly. Is the power of these two brave individuals strong enough for them to stay alive long enough to see the end of this seemingly endless peril?

This poem is free verse, written in quatrains. The story is about Kali and Shiva, Lord and Lordess of the Universe, according to Hindu beliefs.

When the world falls into chaos, anything is possible... Worldwide government succumbs to corruption, and all out war stems from dirty plays turned feral. Crime rates skyrocket alongside the rates of death as bombings become more and more frequent, weather it be from opposing government parties, or criminal organizations working towards their next big score. Below the ground, out of reach of the failing climate and social structure, are a series of bunkers organized by an anonymous group. The bunkers are rumored to contain vast amounts of power and wealth, lying in several countries around the world. The kicker? No one knows where the are. A political race to find the bunkers rages in the heat of war; a race to power; a race to victory. (Guys, please please PLEASE, if you are even remotely interested in reading something like this, you should open up to the first chapter because there a lot of things that need explaining about where this story came from and who the characters are.)
