In the neon shadows of Rhodesia, freedom is a myth and memory is a weapon. Four Gridlockes rule-mines, data, food, and guns-while the Black Helix coils above the city, feeding on despair. Told through the eyes of Kuliwa, a reluctant survivor haunted by ghosts of the past and glitches in his own mind, Neorhodesia is a story of rebellion, fractured identity, and the thin line between dreams and nightmares. If cyberpunk had roots in Lusaka's streets, this is where it would grow.

"An Elite Mecha Squadron in a galaxy at war." In a galaxy torn apart by a war of attrition, the Solar Hegemony is on the brink of collapse against the ruthless, pragmatic Void Syndicate. The Syndicate employs tactics of terror, deception, and biological warfare, crushing morale and defying all conventions of interstellar law. In a desperate last gambit, the Hegemony activates its most dangerous and powerful asset: Experimental Unit 77, callsign: "Honor Force." Honor Force is an elite mecha squadron whose pilots are psychologically bonded to their machines, known as "Chevaliers." These mecha are powered by "Aetherium," a rare energy source that resonates directly with a pilot's adherence to the ancient Knight's Codex-a rigid doctrine of chivalry, fairness, and battlefield honor.οΏΌοΏΌ The Core Tension: The stronger a pilot's integrity and commitment to the Codex (e.g., announcing a challenge, protecting civilians at all costs, refusing to strike an unarmed foe), the more powerful their Chevalier becomes. But this very strength is their greatest weakness. The Honor Force is a relic of a bygone era, a scalpel designed for a duel, thrown into a war that demands a sledgehammer. The story follows the young, idealistic leader of Honor Force as he discovers that in a war against an enemy with no honor, his code may not be his greatest weapon, but his deadliest flaw.

Sneak peak snippets: "Please STOP making TikTaks with the supernatural fog that wants to eat us! MB, you're the first one we're going to sacrifice if you don't move!" The kids froze at the sound of Pastor Parks' voice before rushing to grab recording phones off the grocery shelves. "Youth Pastor, um, is this one of those end times signs? Because I know that we've all read the book of Revelations but, um, just wanted to check in?" The way he said it told Pastor Park that he had not in fact read the book of Revelation. The book that they'd been reviewing all month. "You know you have to pay for all the things your youth kids are using, don't yah?" the youth pastor sighed before glaring at the group of boys opening another box of Ding Dongs. "A bunch of ding-dongs for some ding-dongs," the grocery store clerk snickered but tried her best to keep a straight face at the man's look of annoyance. Synopsis: Pastor Park just wanted to get his youth group to their annual winter retreat. Driving thirteen kids ranging in age from 12 all the way up to 24 wouldn't be what he considered the best time of his life. Especially not when they all lacked any semblance of volume control. So you can imagine his ire when forced to stop the van for another bathroom break, a mere 30 minutes from their destination. Kids who didn't even need to use the bathroom pile out of the van, and he watched resignedly before following. Fifteen minutes later while cruising the creepily empty grocery store, he hears the sound of kids screaming and sees an ominous green fog surrounding them with no way out. They never taught him how to handle this kind of stuff in seminary school. One-sentence summary: A youth group, volunteers, and a youth pastor get trapped in a grocery store by a supernatural, ominous green fog. Genres: slice of life, comedy, romance, coming of age, fantasy, christian

Taken at Dusk is a gripping coming-of-age thriller that follows Malik Johnson, a sixteen-year-old Black teen whose ordinary walk home turns into a fight for survival. When Malik is kidnapped without warning, he's forced into a shadowed world where every second matters and every decision could cost him his life. As fear presses in, Malik must rely on intelligence, awareness, and the lessons passed down by his family to outthink the people who believe they control his fate. With limited time and no certainty of rescue, Malik learns that survival isn't about strength alone-it's about identity, resilience, and refusing to be erased. Set against the backdrop of an urban community often misunderstood and overlooked, Taken at Dusk explores how quickly life can change, how danger can hide in plain sight, and how a young voice can still rise even when silenced. This is a story about instinct over panic, mind over fear, and the power of holding onto who you are when everything is trying to take it from you.
