Why does progress feel impossible in the wealthiest, most resourceful nation on Earth? Why are we still grappling with challenges like healthcare access, economic inequality, and cultural division? And most importantly, what can we do about it? In Reuniting the Nation, the author delves into the forces tearing us apart-political polarization, economic inequality, media-driven division-and exposes how these fractures stifle our collective potential. Through a blend of powerful storytelling, in-depth research, and practical solutions, this book challenges readers to rethink the systems and narratives that perpetuate inequality and division. From the role of media algorithms in shaping public opinion to the shared struggles of diverse communities often pitted against each other, Reuniting the Nation uncovers how inequality and polarization harm us all. Most importantly, it offers a roadmap for change: universal healthcare, affordable housing, and cross-cultural solidarity that unite us around shared economic goals. Whether you're a student, activist, policymaker, or simply someone searching for hope, Reuniting the Nation will inspire you to see beyond divisions and work toward a more equitable and unified society. Together, we can move past the fractures of today to build a future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. A must-read for anyone who refuses to accept that division is inevitable.

Note: Short story only. If you prefer characters who always make the right choices, this story may not be for you. Proceed only if you're open to flawed people learning hard lessons about life and love. Story Synopsis Kiera Dela Cruz was a dedicated Architecture student who often felt like she was building castles out of sand-her designs never seemed to measure up to her professors' expectations, and bills piled higher than her sketchbooks. Growing up, she weathered abandonment by her father, chronic illness in her younger brother, and working odd jobs just to keep their small home running. Through it all, she had two anchors: her selfless mother Elena, who took double shifts as a caregiver, and her childhood best friend Marcus Reyes, a brilliant Computer Science major who never failed to tutor her through tough subjects or fix her broken laptop. Kiera had loved Marcus in secret for years, convinced that his steady presence would always be by her side. She leaned on him so heavily that she'd almost forgotten how to stand on her own. But like the rain she'd always loved-bringing life but sometimes causing floods-their bond was not meant to stay the same forever. When life forces them down separate paths, Kiera realizes that while she'd been reaching for someone else to shield her from the storm, she'd never learned how to dance in the rain on her own.

Thirteen... That is the traditional number of witches in a coven. There were once thirteen witches who lived in the town of Salem in Massachusetts in the early years of the 1900s. Then, one dreadful night, everything changed, and a coven became a small circle. A teenage witch named Ceciellia unknowingly performed a ritual with her three friends, which would earn her the title of the High Priestess of a coven. As if it activated something within her community, one by one, more of her Wiccan sisters were drawn to her. Once the thirteenth Wiccan sister had joined them, they finally felt their most powerful and had more control of something they didn't understand for so long. What they didn't know, was that trouble was following close behind the last girl to join the coven. The coven would secretly train in a hidden bunker below the basement of P. Lovecroft & Co., a leather manufacturing factory owned by Lily's father. They kept records of their accomplishments, experiences, and adventures in a detailed book Ceciellia kept in her bedroom under a loose floorboard. Every page had been touched by a member of the coven, filling it with more than just written spells, a list of potions and their ingredients, and thirteen names listed with the power each of them possessed. The girls find friendship and love in places they least expected when they needed it most. During Litha, the Summer Solstice of 1922, the coven performed a ritualistic dance in the center of a forest around the raging fire under the seemingly glowing full moon. It was fun while it lasted, as it was unexpectedly interrupted, causing the girls to flee and forget about the book sitting on a tree stump nearby. Upon realizing it was gone, two of them returned to the spot they'd been, only to find it was missing. Soon their town was filled with danger lurking around every corner. As the High Priestess, it was up to Ceciellia to protect the coven as enemies from different sides closed in on them.
