The six stories narrated in this book can be personally related to individuals since we also might have faced the same situation where we have failed to make a right decision at that point of time.

Claire wakes up dead in her bed, that is in her house, on her street. However, waking up to get ready in the morning is different. First, she sees her Pomeranian puppy named Sparky, who died three years ago. Then, she gets this headache like nothing she's ever experienced before. Claire thinks she remembers... dying? She soon starts to realize that she is in a parallel universe that is afterlife. However, ghosts start to disappear through a tear in the veil that separates life and death. Which means people start to go back to life... This is something the living have always praised. However the dead have their reasons for wanting to stay on their side of the veil.
