Nero has to flee, after people think that he is the kidnapper of his own girlfriend. So he joins his old friend Dante who runs a demon hunting buisness. Will Nero be able to proof that he's innocent? Will he be able to save the love of his life? And at what price does every step towards her come? Anyways who is the mysterious stranger and why does he look like him? Join Nero in this exciting adventure and find the answeres to all these questions! This fanfic is based on the computer game "Devil May Cry 4", but it can be read without knowing anything about the game, cause I only got the idea from it and even changed some things.

Y/n and Dante were a happy couple with kids. But, Y/n was pissed as hell when he killed his target right in the middle of the church service he was directing. She didn't feel remorse for the guy as he probably was a dick, but she felt bad for the spectators and resolved to prevent a disaster set to occur soon after that she saw in a sleep vision. She couldn't do it alone though, not even with Dante's help. So she tried to enlist one of her old acquaintances to help. Maria Parker or just more known as Maria was a demon that Y/n had met when she was 13. The older girl had helped Y/n escape from the authorities after being wrongly accused of a crime and being chased by police. But she said she couldn't help her. Ever since then the two kept in contact, and would call upon the other for favors. Now Y/n had to help both Dante and Nero, to prevent a disaster from happening. Let's hope she can keep her cool and patience, because lord knows you don't want to get her mad.

He didn't know of her, but just hearing that he was related to her in some way hit him in the heart and his rage wavered. But the past was the past and this is the present.
