George moves into a new house that was abandon in the early 1900's. He finds a mirror covered up and decides to clean it. While wiping down the mirror he finds a paper stuck to the top of it reading "although heaven is far its closer than it seems." He reads it aloud and falls through the mirror into a different realm where he meets dream. His soon to be significant other. But when the mirror breaks all is lost.

Prince George had been so lonely he started talking to frogs. But only one seem to listen. He named him Dream. Other frogs and people would come and go but Dream was always around the same fountain. One day George will get too close to the frog and Dream will take that opportunity to free himself.

AU: When you start to become depressed you lose your color. Your skin, eyes, and hair turn gray. George's color is fading rapidly due to his abusive household, bullying in school, and lack of socal contact. Dream is a skater boy. He has never been in a serious relation ship, until this summer. He fell deep, deep in love with a guy, George. They spent all days together, laughing, giggling, shouting, talking, biking, swimming, climbing, sneaking out, just anything. Dream was the happiest he could ever be. At least until he messed everything up.

As senior year for high school goes on, George struggles with being seen, believing that all of his achievements are being overlooked and ignored because of his siblings. Dream however, would absolutely die to have a sibling to rely on at all times as he is also always being overlooked.
