Naomi, Otto Octavius's past lab partner, discovers he has become a super villain. In a fit of rage Otto kidnapps her and tries to recreate the lab atmosphere from the past. Naomi is able to help build a fusion mechanism against her will that is able to destroy half the city. Otto takes a liking to Naomi.
