However, despite being given the gift of change, many humans choose to fight it. They don't want the change, so they constantly battle against it. Yet, no one has ever won. Except for me. When the war broke out, they were called home, but they avoid the call until the last possible moment. Together, they devised a way to end the pain caused by the constant battle. When the time wae came to end the war, the Doctor sent his wife away intent on keeping her safe while he perished with their world. But the Doctor lived. And he lived in regret.
