It took a lot of convincing from the other founding members for him not to investigate alone. Frankly, he only agreed to avoid giving the villains more time to recover. His assistance came in the form of Doctor Light. However, despite not working with him often, Light, for a while now, had become increasing worried with The Batman's state since the situation with Ace. The story is going to be similar to season one and three of titans along with young justice but not either with the same team right away while trying to stop doctor light from destroying san Francisco
