Hiccup and Toothless run away from Berk after Hiccup won dragon training and got chosen to slay the Monstrous Nightmare. After two long hours of flying away from Berk, some way, somehow Toothless was able to escape the forcefield that kept Berk away from the rest of the world similar to Wakanda and flew Hiccup and himself all the way to New York City in only two days. There, they meet Peter Parker, who to Hiccup looks a little bit familiar but can't quite put together and gets enrolled in Midtown High School. Hiccup starts developing superpowers and begins to learn to control them with a little bit of help.
