When life gets them down, they just keep on swimming. "Stop. That's Finding Nemo. I don't even know where you're going with that one." Everyone controls their own destinies, you don't need magic- "You need to seriously stop quoting Disney." If music be the food of- "Get out." "What?" "Just move over, I'm doing it myself." From the day they are born, humans are hardwired to slowly, but endlessly change. They are given the tools to adapt to whatever environment they choose to live. They don't realize how lucky they are to harness this gift, the gift of change. Humans are small creatures in this vast universe, but they are important. However, despite being given the gift of change, many humans choose to fight it. They don't want the change, so they constantly battle against it. Yet, no one has ever won. Except for me. Well, me and the Doctor. But we don't really fall in the 'human' category. Note: I do not own Doctor Who. All rights to BBC except my own characters. P.S. This is in no way a romance novel. The very last time she spoke to her brother was a year or two after the war over Olympus against Kronos had ended. He had told her that it would be better for them both. He had said he needed time to grieve those they lost properly and to find his true self. Something she, too, felt necessary. She could understand his point of view, not that she liked it. For it did nothing to soften the blow of virtually forced isolation. After parting ways, Melanie decided to live in the solitude imposed upon her, just so she could avoid any rouge monsters that unfortunately crossed her dangerous path. It would take time and effort, but the Doctor was convinced that with love and hard work, he could help Persephone save herself. This is a 'slowmance.' I want to show that you don't have to have love at first sight to be an interesting fanfiction.

As mysteries snap into connections and revelations she trains and fights threats larger than ever before. Fighting enemies left and right as she is forced to survive as a warrior again. Thrust into the storms again she must become a Storm Rider and ride out what comes her way rather than run from it. Only problem is you cannot run from yourself.
