Paws on my heart

We have no idea what our dogs feel, do we? Never have we taken a look at the prospective of such a small animal, anyways It's hard being small, but whats it like being a pomchi in a house of pitbulls and mastiffs?! According to the dog, this is what it's like.

A young girl, with a fearless heart full of passion for the wild dogs that roam the countryside!

I wrote this poem in August 2023, days after she fought for her life in my arms. I poured all my pain and thoughts into these words, knowing she has already read them. Though time eases the pain, it never fully fades. But with a hopeful heart, I will see you again.

There was a time in my life where I was content with merely existing. How I felt matter not. My very thoughts were often pushed aside, for what they told me made me lie awake at night and cry. But there reached a point, like most things, where I could not longer handle it. Where I dreaded waking up, where all that I did only brought me sadness and misery. But then you came into my life. I must admit I placed too high of an expectation on you. Hoping, praying that you would cure me. And in a sense you did, you gave me a reason to live. You helped me become a better and happier person. And though life still has its ups and downs, I write this poem for you to thank you for loving me. To show my appreciate to God for making you and to show the world how much I love you. So a century from now, maybe the world can remember the name Dandelion and what he meant to me.

I know It's not Christmas anymore but I wanted to write something New and this Is what I came up with!
