A dog is finally adopted by a young women after years of abuse, the dog and women build an unbreakable bond. The women has a horrible lover that treats her and her dog poorly which ends in a tragic turn of events. This is all from the dogs perspective as he can only watch the horrors that unfold.

I felt the impact but it hadn't been as painful as I'd expected. Whoever had caught me let out a groan causing me to open my eyes. I was surprised to find my face quite close to the orange masked turtle. He slowly opened his eyes meeting my (e/c) eyes with his light blue ones. He gave me a beaming smile, "Hey dudette, you're okay right?" I nodded feeling my own smile start to form, "Yeah, I'm fine but are you alright?" I questioned. He laughed, "Yup, I'm okay." He replied pointing to his plastron. "Luckily the dumpster broke our fall." I finally noticed our surroundings and almost gagged at the smell. Plastic bag surrounded us along with a stingy odor. It wasn't the most softest of landings but it made up for saving our lives. He held out his green three finger hand towards me which I shook. "I'm Michelangelo by the way." The story of a dog's journey through life. Wondering the busy streets, a stray mutt manages to find herself in a cage at the local animal shelter. Once she gains the name Janice, the young hound is soon adopted and taken to a farm where ten other dogs reside. After being abused and in need of affection, Janice is returned to the animal shelter. A few months later she is adopted once again by a new family and given a new name. She hopes this family will give her the attention she needs and deserves. This story is a rewrite. I first started way back in 2018 and then lost motivation, but now I think I can continue, this time with better storytelling skills. This book is based on a true story from the view point of my own dog. Some details are unknown, so I've decided to fill in the gaps with my imagination. I hope you enjoy.
