What if... a regular person went INSIDE of Doki Doki Literature Club? Yes, I know, I know, not an original concept. But I'm doing a unique spin on it! Trust me! Just... read the description and trust me!! Aubergine is a 18-year-old guy who really likes DDLC, but is avidly against the... er... "strategies" Monika employs within it. He has also never played the game. He was researching Doki Doki stuff for a potential fanfiction he could publish on his Wattpad account, chimpanzeecitizen40, when he stumbled upon an ad that allowed you to "GO INSIDE DDLC!" His curiosity got the best of him and so he clicked on it, expecting some low-quality AI website he'd click off of after a few seconds, but suddenly, his tablet flashed, and... exclamatory expression! He now finds himself within the confines of Doki Doki Literature Club! Will he see firsthand how psychologically terrible DDLC actually is? Will Monika be surprised and intrigued at this person from the reality she wants desperately to be a part of? Will Yuri be pleasantly surprised by his avid interest in vocabulary? Will Natsuki find solace in finally getting another member of the club who thinks manga is literature? Will Sayori be excited at the possibility of getting another friend alongside MC? Will Aubergine be very, VERY critical of Monika's deletion demonstrations before she puts them into motion?! Eh. Probably. And romance is sure to blossom as well! "Romance between who", you may ask? "Romance between what"? "Between where"? "Between WHY"...? Well... I don't know how to answer those last three questions. One day in the Literature Club, Natsuki sprained her leg. Monika decided to help Natsuki do chores that she had that weekend. Monika's usual orderly personality is shattered when she realizes that she's been waaay more interested in Natsuki than she realized. What was supposed to be a nice weekend with a friend, has become nerve wracking alone time at her crush's house.

Y/N is a new kid and joined the Literature Club! The club contained of four girls: Sayori, Natsuki, Monika, & Yuri! Sayori is aloof and silly, Yuri is brooding and gentle, Natsuki is cutesy and has sass, and last but not least, Monika, who is the leader of the Literature Club. Which one will capture your heart?

this is a sayosuki au where the literature club doesn't exist and neither does mc sayori finally decided on a club to join, just in time for her sophomore year. an art club. she'd always love little doodles, and she wanted to mature her art style. she meets a senior with long dark hair, yuri. yuri introduces sayori to her friend group. sayori meets natsuki and instantly becomes best friends with her.

I'm working on a sequel to Cheering Her Up, but I've got writer's block right now, so enjoy these random headcanons in the meantime!
